Here are the most important home remedies for insomnia.

1- Cumin seeds:

Cumin is a culinary spice and has medicinal properties that aid in digestion. It has been used to induce sleep because cumin also has a sedative effect.


So it is useful to take a mixture of cumin powder added to the mashed banana before going to bed

Cumin tea also has a role in relieving fatigue and exhaustion because insomnia and fatigue often occur together, so to prepare cumin tea, you must heat a spoon of cumin seeds over low heat for five seconds, then add a cup of water and leave the mixture until it boils, then turn off the heat and cover the cumin tea and leave it for five minutes. Then drink this tea before bed.



2- Nutmeg:

Nutmeg has sedative properties and acts as a natural sleep aid.

 

Therefore, adding a teaspoon of nutmeg powder to a glass of warm milk and drinking it before bedtime to get rid of insomnia.

Or you can add a quarter teaspoon of fresh nutmeg to a glass of warm water or any fruit juice and drink it before bed.


3- Saffron is an excellent aid in the treatment of insomnia:

So you should add a spoonful of saffron to a glass of warm milk and drink it at night before going to bed.

So you should enjoy a cup of chamomile tea to induce sleep and relaxation. You can also sweeten it with a pinch of cinnamon and some honey.
