Here's how to remove unwanted hair: Quickly, cheaply and safely

At a time when it is very important that we isolate ourselves as much as possible in order to slow down the spread of coronavirus, it is also important to devote our free time and home cosmetic care. If you are looking for a cheap and painless way to get rid of unwanted hair, we come up with good news.

Sugaring method

A natural method of hair removal that goes back to Ancient Egypt. A paste that is made from sugar, hot water, and lemons. The paste forms into a hair follicle and is rapidly removed in the direction of growth. When using this method, there is minimal irritation and slower regrowth. This technique of removing body hair at home is a painless alternative to waxing. The paste does not stick to the skin, it only binds to the hair, while the wax also pulls the skin when removing hair. As a result, this method is especially good if you have sensitive skin, as it causes less irritation and is not as painful as waxing. After application, you can easily clean the residues by simply rinsing with water, because all the ingredients in the mixture are natural, so they dissolve well.

Make sugar paste at home

All you need are two cups of white sugar, 1/4 cup of lemon juice (about two lemons), and 1/4 cup of water. Make sure there are no stones or pulp left in the lemon juice and mix all the ingredients in one pot and gradually heat it to a medium-high temperature and stir constantly. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the temperature to low to medium. Let the mixture boil for about 25 minutes and make sure that the mixture does not darken too quickly. If the paste is dark amber, it is ready. Remove it and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Then place it in an airtight container. After cooling, the product is ready. Due to the sugar content, your paste must be at room temperature. If it is too thick, put in hot water until it warms up and becomes sticky.

Application procedure

1. Clean the skin. All serums and lotions, no matter how long ago you apply them, should be removed from the skin. This will prevent the sugar paste from slipping.

2. Then gently dust the skin with baby powder and gently massage it. Too much interferes with hair removal.

3. Apply warm sugar paste in the opposite direction of growth, applying light pressure so that it fits snugly.

4. Next, use a quick swipe to remove the paste in the same direction as hair growth. Removing hair in the same direction of growth helps prevent hair follicles from breaking above or below the surface of the skin. This means you get longer hairless results and avoid uncomfortable overgrown hair.

5. When finished, rinse the area with soap and water.
